Jivin' Chives

Chives thrive in the temperate climate of the Island. Other plants that do well are lettuce, onions, radishes, spinach and other cool weather greens. Potatoes do well also and have been know to be planted in nothing but seaweed to yield the best tasting spuds in the land. Container gardening and raised beds are a popular way to grow flowers and vegetables for adequate drainage.
